Job Description

Gastroenterologist responsibilities include consulting with patients to understand their needs, performing various tests to diagnose patients, and performing surgical procedures.

Ultimately, you will work with various medical professionals and directly with patients to treat various medical conditions and help them lead a healthier life.

Responsibilities

Consult with a patients primary doctor
Analyze patient historical data
Consult with other specialists, such as oncologists, in the case of cancer
Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
Execute X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
Perform surgery in the digestive tract

Requirements and skills

Proven work experience as a Gastroenterologist or similar role
Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
