Role Overview:
We are looking for dynamic and driven individuals with a passion for equity markets to join our buyside research team. The role offers exposure to deep fundamental research, investment analysis, and portfolio management support in a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis of listed companies across sectors.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks.
- Track sectoral trends, industry developments and macroeconomic data to identify investment opportunities and risks.
- Prepare and present investment ideas to the investment committee with strong data-backed conviction.
- Assist fund managers with stock recommendations and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Maintain coverage on existing holdings including earnings reviews, management interactions, and site visits.
- Monitor global trends and their potential impact on domestic sectors and portfolios.
Candidate Profile:
- 23 years of relevant experience in equity research, preferably on the buyside.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation techniques (DCF, relative valuation, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg/Reuters; knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- CFA (completed or pursuing) or CA preferred.
