Vice President - Cloud Architect - Cib It Architecture @ Teamware Solutions

Current position is under ISPL CIB IT Architecture team to work with the Technology Architecture team. The candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. You would be responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders to determine requirements, prototyping solution plans, and converting proof-of-concepts for the larger development teams.

• Identify cloud architecture solutions, aligned with business objectives, to manage Cloud adoption process.
• Nurture cloud computing expertise internally to drive cloud adoption
• Provide the development team with architectural blueprints or guidelines to follow
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices
• Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise
• Keep up to date with developments on current cloud computing solutions and processes
• Provide guidance on appropriate use of microservice architectures, tooling and architecture patterns and anti-patterns

• Contribute towards Cloud strategies to ensure cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance best practices
• Contribute towards recruitment efforts for the team

• • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends
  • Experience using IBM Cloud, MS Azure, AWS or other major cloud computing services and migration skills and experience
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Architect
  • Passionate, persuasive, articulate cloud professional capable of quickly establishing interest and credibility in how to design, deploy and operate cloud-based architectures

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners

• Good knowledge on IBM Cloud
