Job Description
Job Title: Architect I - SAP FICO, S4 Hana
Location: Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 9+ Years
Must-Have Skills:
Experience:
9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO/S/4HANA Finance, including at least 3-4 years in a lead role.
Proven track record in end-to-end implementations, support, and rollout projects.
Strong experience in Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
Expertise in SAP FICO integration with other modules such as MM, SD, RAR, FSCM, and third-party systems.
Configuration & Functional Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of SAP FICO configuration including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
Knowledge of Group Reporting, SAP Fiori, EDI, and S/4HANA functionalities.
Experience with system settings, report generation, and issue troubleshooting.
Basic debugging knowledge is an added advantage.
Leadership & Team Management:
Experience in leading teams of SAP and non-SAP consultants.
Ability to mentor, guide, and support the team in issue resolution and timely delivery.
Strong stakeholder management and ability to liaise with business, internal, and external teams.
Support & Maintenance:
Proven ability in system monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing support for SAP FICO systems.
Hands-on involvement in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
Ensuring enhancements align with business goals and compliance standards.
Process Optimization:
Ability to collaborate with business process owners for improvements and enhancements.
Delivering training, documentation, and hands-on support to end users.
Project Management:
Experience in managing SAP-related KPIs, deliverables, and ensuring customer satisfaction (CSAT).
Familiarity with project management practices and methodologies.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensures alignment with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance.
Supports audit readiness with documentation and financial reporting processes.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
SAP FICO/S/4HANA certification is preferred.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
High business acumen and ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations and roadmap.
Exposure to global SAP implementations or support across multiple geographies.
Experience with industry-specific solutions in Manufacturing, Retail, or Services.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional project delivery.
