Power BI Developer @ Royal Cyber

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
• Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and implement best practices for data visualization
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts to support reporting needs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Handle large datasets and optimize performance across reports and queries
• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL Server, cloud data platforms, and APIs
• Ensure data security, governance, and access controls within Power BI
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues in a timely manner
• Document solutions, data models, and processes for reusability and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Power BI report/dashboard development
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Service, Power Query (M), and DAX
• Solid experience in SQL Server (T-SQL), stored procedures, and query optimization
• Hands-on experience in data modeling (star schema, snowflake, normalized/denormalized structures)
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and data integration
• Familiarity with other BI/analytics tools (Tableau, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning for reporting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams
