Job Description
- The Electronic Document Processor at Capgemini is responsible for reviewing and processing claim-related electronic documents with speed and accuracy. You will evaluate document quality, request rescans when necessary, and ensure proper document disposition. Your role involves determining appropriate document types, related claims, and specialized handling instructions. Additionally, you may need to work outside traditional business hours. Key Responsibilities: - Review document images to verify quality and correct scanning, requesting rescans as needed. - Reorient and reorder document pages as required. - Include copies of envelopes with documents for regulatory compliance. - Identify appropriate document types and indexing fields using established guidelines or judgment. - Split original documents into multiple child documents to support downstream claim processes. - File documents against the correct Company, Line of Business, Claim System, and claims, routing exceptions based on business rules. - Stay updated by reviewing reference materials, attending training, and applying feedback from mentors and supervisors.
