Job Description
- As an Oracle JDEdwards CNC Administrator with 11+ to 16 years of experience, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the system. You will be responsible for system administration tasks such as security setup, user management, and environment management. Additionally, you will be involved in planning, building, and deploying software packages, as well as implementing and maintaining security policies. Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning measures will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be expected to diagnose and resolve JDE system issues, including application, UBE, and database issues, as well as applying JDE software updates like ESUs and ASUs. Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to JDE configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 6 years of experience as an Oracle JDEdwards CNC Administrator and a good understanding of Oracle JDEdwards System Architecture. Your extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in various areas including Environment/Pathcode, OMW/OMC, Business Services Server (BSSV), Application Interface Server (AIS), UBEs/Batch Processing, Database (Oracle/SQL/DB2), Package Management, ESU/ASU, Application Webserver (WebLogic Server), Operating System (OEL/Unix/Windows), and Database (Oracle Database/MS SQL) will be essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work under pressure, quick thinking, and remaining calm during stressful situations. Strong customer interaction skills on technology or business issues, willingness to work in shifts (including night shift), and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues are also key requirements. Moreover, having an appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills will be beneficial for this role.,
