Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust fintech payment solutions tailored to the organizations product portfolio.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Track & Trace product suite with advanced software solutions.
- Integrate payment functionalities seamlessly into existing systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of efficient billing systems to streamline customer invoicing and payment processes.
- Ensure the billing systems support diverse payment methods and currencies.
- Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring best practices in software engineering are followed.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Gather and analyze requirements to ensure solutions meet customer and market needs.
Key Competencies for Software Solutions Lead
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of core IT, InfoSec, Cloud, and DevOps concepts.
- Proven skillset and experience with a career path focused on public cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- SME level knowledge of Kubernetes and containers with the ability to architect and troubleshoot complex environments.
- Ability to lead conversations focused at various audiences including technical, business, and executive level.
- Good people skills to manage National and international stakeholders as per project requirements.
- Be passionate in regard to continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership.
- Experience and ability to code and understand developer workflows. Git, CI/CD, helm, terraform and experience with Android studio, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Windows environment
Candidate Profile:
- Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance, tokenization, fraud detection, KYC/AML, etc.
- Experience with payment gateways, merchant acquiring, settlement flows, reconciliation, or cross-border payments.
- Familiarity with transaction workflows, retry mechanisms, chargebacks, etc.
- Knowledge of real-time and batch transaction processing.
- Billing logic subscription models, usage-based billing, invoice generation, tax/VAT handling.
- Integration experience with third-party processors (e.g., CC Avenue, PayU, Paytm, Stripe,
- Razor pay, PayPal) or card networks (Visa, Mastercard).
- Java programming experience helps, its the security/compliance area of Java that is relevant.
