Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to lead and manage our continuous monitoring efforts in alignment with NIST and FedRAMP guidelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our cloud infrastructure remains secure, compliant, and resilient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement monitoring strategies, analyze security data, and support audit readiness.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain processes to collect, analyze, and report security-related data from various sources (e.g., security controls, vulnerability assessments, incident response).

Design and implement automated reporting solutions using tools like Microsoft Fabric to monitor key business metrics.

Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats in cloud environments.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of monitoring programs.

Monitor and analyze logs, event data, and alerts to detect anomalies and ensure compliance with security policies.

Evaluate vulnerability scans and penetration tests to assess system security posture.

Review security documentation, including system security plans and risk assessments.

Support internal and external audits by compiling and presenting evidence of compliance.

Create and maintain a comprehensive continuous monitoring plan based on NIST SP 800-137 and FedRAMP requirements.

Requirement:

Programming and automation experience with one or more: Python, SQL, PowerShell, Bash.

Proficiency in data visualization tools: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI.

Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub.

Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.

Experience with vulnerability management tools: Qualys, ServiceNow.

Familiarity with SIEM tools: Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk.
