Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with GCP to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong Java programming skills, hands-on experience with GCP services, and proficiency in containerization and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using Java and GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery).
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes (GKE).
- Develop and deploy microservices and APIs adhering to cloud best practices.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security within GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve runtime and deployment issues.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and GCP features.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud development, preferably with GCP.
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with GCP services like GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and IAM best practices.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, BigQuery).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
