Senior Business Analyst I @ Lexisnexis

Job Description

• Support an agile product development team (typically 4 8 members) in delivering high-impact features and capabilities.

• Collaborate with the Product team and stakeholders to understand customer needs and business objectives.

• Participate in discovery and brainstorming sessions with end users to gather diverse and detailed requirements.

• Prioritize the Product backlog with a focus on fairness, accessibility, and user impact.

• Define functional requirements as user stories with clear and inclusive acceptance criteria.

• Work with Software and QA engineers to identify solutions, address potential risks, and consider varying user needs and abilities.

• Guide the creation of accessible technical documentation (user guides, manuals) in partnership with technical writers.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with development methodologies (eg, Agile, SAFe), or a willingness to learn.

• Background in Product Ownership or Business Analysis is helpful, but we welcome alternative experiences and perspectives.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

• Commitment to validating user stories with the team, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met, and solutions are accessible to everyone.

• Openness to learning, adapting, and sharing knowledge.
