SDET API Automation @ Cognizant

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cucumber framework to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create test plans that meet business needs.
• Develop API automation scripts using Rest Assured and Selenium WebDriver for seamless integration testing.
• Analyze data from SQL queries to identify trends and areas for improvement in the application's performance.

Job Requirements :

• 5-10 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java programming language.
• Strong understanding of Cucumber framework for BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) testing.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs using Rest Assured library.
• Experience working with SQL databases to extract insights from large datasets.
