Job Summary:
We are looking for a Tender Executive who will be responsible for handling government and private manufacturing-related tenders, preparing technical and commercial documents, coordinating with production and design teams, and ensuring timely submission of bids. The role involves strong documentation, costing knowledge, and good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Search and identify relevant manufacturing-related tenders from government and private portals (GeM, CPPP, State Govt., PSUs, etc.).
Prepare and submit technical & commercial bid documents as per tender requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, and Accounts teams to collect technical specifications, drawings, costing, and certifications.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), cost sheets, and ensure accurate pricing for tenders.
Ensure all compliance documents (ISO certificates, MSME, GST, PAN, PF/ESI, past work orders, etc.) are properly arranged.
Track EMD, Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), and ensure timely refunds.
Maintain proper filing of submitted, ongoing, and awarded tenders.
Communicate with clients, consultants, and government departments for clarifications and updates.
Maintain vendor registrations and empanelment on manufacturing-related portals.
Generate MIS reports on tenders submitted, status updates, and success ratio.
Key Skills Required:
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, costing, and BOQ preparation.
Familiarity with e-tendering platforms (GeM, CPPP, e-Procurement portals, etc.).
Strong MS Excel, Word, PDF, and documentation skills.
Coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Any stream), preference for candidates with technical background (Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
2 to 4 years experience in tendering within manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication industry.
Knowledge of government procurement guidelines and contract terms.
