Location: Dahej Manufacturing Unit
Department: Safety
Reporting To: Safety Executive

Job Purpose

Ensure industrial health & safety of employees, contractors, equipment, and facilities at the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inductions, trainings, toolbox talks & mock drills.

• Carry out safety rounds, inspections, and audits; ensure compliance with ESS & statutory requirements.

• Implement and monitor permit-to-work system, LOTO, and isolation procedures.

• Maintain and inspect safety equipment, PPEs, and firefighting systems.

• Lead incident/near-miss reporting, investigation, and trend analysis.

• Support PSM implementation, HIRA, JSA, Hazop studies.

• Promote Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and workplace 5S.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and statutory authorities.

Requirements

• Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety (essential); Diploma in Chemical/Fire & Safety/Mechanical (preferred).

• Experience: 1-3 years in industrial safety (process safety preferred).

• Skills: Safety audits, risk assessment, firefighting systems, training, compliance.

• Behavioral: Team player, proactive, safety-focused, willingness to learn.
