Backend Engineer @ CMS Computers

Job Description

As a Backend Engineer at KeyValue, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be challenged with big tasks. You will be expected to leverage your strong problem-solving skills to optimize code for performance and scalability. A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms will be essential for success in this role. Your expertise in one or more server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Golang, Scala, or Rust will be crucial. Additionally, you should have extensive experience working with both relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Proficiency in API development, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL, is highly desirable. Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP will be beneficial. Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture using tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, will also be advantageous. Experience with unit testing frameworks and methodologies like JUnit, Jest, pytest, and ScalaTest will be valuable in this role.
