Job Description
- You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers to ensure high productivity, performance, and professional growth. Your main duties will include developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual testing of user-facing applications. Utilizing JMeter to perform load and performance testing on applications to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you may be required to implement and maintain test scripts using Selenium to automate repetitive testing tasks. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction. This will involve collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software. You will also be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing. Proven experience in performance testing using JMeter is essential, while familiarity with Selenium or similar test automation tools would be beneficial. A strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, will also be necessary for success. Additionally, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve testing processes and tools will be expected. Providing detailed and actionable reports on testing activities, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders will also be a crucial part of your responsibilities.
