About the Role
GHX s Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) platform eliminates manual, repetitive work and drive operational excellence. This role will focus on developing automation solutions that digitize business documents received via fax or PDF.
You will work with UiPath s intelligent document understanding, while ensuring the design and implementation are adaptable to future automation platforms. Automation solutions are deployed in AWS Cloud , so cloud familiarity is key. You ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, business analysts, and product teams to deliver automation that improves accuracy, reduces errors, and boosts productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development
- Analyze and understand the business processes to suggest process improvements and suggest IPA solutions around them.
- Build new automated workflows or support existing RPA/IPA workflows
- Implement document processing pipelines using OCR, classification, and data extraction techniques.
- Develop platform-agnostic solutions that can be migrated to new tools if required.
- Integrate bots with enterprise systems via APIs or other interfaces.
- Follow established coding standards, testing protocols, and deployment guidelines.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Deploy and maintain automation solutions in AWS environments.
- Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS for automation workflows.
- Monitor bot execution, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
Collaboration
- Work with business analysts, solution architect and support engineers to understand requirements/automation failures and translate them into automation designs.
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate workflows before deployment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on estimation and planning.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and reduce errors.
- Contribute to reusable components, libraries, and best practices for the IPA team.
- Stay updated on new automation technologies and cloud capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6-9 years of software development or automation experience, with at least 4 years in UiPath or similar Automation tools
- Experience in document processing and intelligent data extraction workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS services for application hosting and automation deployment.
- Experience with API integrations and scripting/programming in Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
- UiPath Advanced Developer certification (or equivalent in other platforms).
- Experience with OCR/IDP tools like ABBYY, UiPath Document Understanding, or AWS Textract.
- Experience with UiPath s AICenter and Orchestrator
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch and ability to create dashboards
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
