Job Description

Purchase Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage purchase operations, including procurement planning, vendor development, and material sourcing.
Develop new vendors and manage existing ones to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive prices.
Plan and execute purchases according to production schedules, ensuring sufficient inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure best possible terms and conditions.

Desired Candidate Profile
12 - 15 years of experience in Purchase Management or related field (Mechanical Diploma required).
Strong understanding of Purchase Planning, Material Procurement, New Vendor Development, and Purchase Operations.
Excellent negotiation skills with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
Background of Material Handling Company will be added Advantage.
