Job Description
- The Fashion Merchandiser for Leather Goods/Leather Garments position at Punihani International in Okhla, New Delhi, requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with expertise in leather goods or leather garments. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end merchandising operations, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring timely deliveries and quality standards. Your role will involve vendor management, product development, and maintaining detailed reports to support smooth order execution. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end merchandising operations for leather goods/leather garments. - Coordinate with design and production teams for timely sample development and approvals. - Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers. - Track production schedules to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met. - Collaborate with quality control teams to address production or quality-related issues. - Maintain detailed reports of orders, production status, and shipments. - Assist in product development, material sourcing, and cost estimation. - Stay updated on industry trends, raw materials, and competitor strategies. Key Requirements: - For Assistant Merchandiser: 1-2 years of relevant experience in merchandising leather goods or leather garments. - For Senior Merchandiser: 6-7 years of relevant experience in merchandising leather goods or leather garments. - Education: Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile, Leather Technology, or a related field. - Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. - Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of leather materials, manufacturing processes, and export documentation. - Software Proficiency: MS Excel, ERP, or any merchandising software. - Others: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with international clients and export markets. - Knowledge of costing, raw material sourcing, and product development. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid sick time. The work schedule is during the day shift, and candidates must be willing to commute/relocate to New Delhi, Delhi, for in-person work.,
