Job Description
- As the Head of Marketing Advisory (B2B & Technology) at our company, you will be responsible for leading our advisory practice, driving strategic engagements, managing a high-performing team, and contributing to revenue growth. You will lead and develop the marketing advisory function for B2B and technology-driven clients, ensuring best-in-class strategic insights and execution. Your role will involve advising clients on the entire marketing lifecycle - from market research, brand strategy, positioning, content, and demand generation to marketing execution. It is crucial to stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to provide forward-thinking recommendations to clients. In your capacity, you will partner with CXOs, CMOs, and senior marketing leaders of global enterprises and high-growth startups to shape their marketing strategy. This will include driving brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategies that align with business goals and customer needs. Additionally, you will consult on digital transformation in marketing, helping clients optimize their marketing technology stack, data strategy, and customer engagement. A key aspect of your role will be to build, mentor, and lead a team of marketing strategists, consultants, and analysts to deliver high-quality advisory services. You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team while ensuring efficient resource allocation and project execution to drive impact and client success. Furthermore, you will own and drive revenue targets for the marketing advisory practice, ensuring business growth and profitability. Your support in business development efforts, such as pitching to prospective clients, crafting proposals, and identifying new growth opportunities, will be instrumental in the success of the practice. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across creative, digital, content, and analytics teams will help deliver holistic marketing solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have 10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing, consulting, or advisory roles, preferably in a marketing agency, consulting firm, or enterprise marketing team. A proven track record in brand strategy, positioning, and GTM execution for technology-driven businesses is essential. Experience in leading and managing teams, a strong ability to mentor and drive performance, and a deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys, digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing analytics are also required. Previous experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making will be beneficial, and experience in revenue ownership and scaling business functions is a plus.,
