Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Structural mechanics experience preferably applied to Locomotive Products with 4 to 8 years of experience
- Experience of FEA tools preferably Ansys Classic and Hyper mesh (Ansys Workbench experience is an added advantage)
- Experience in Static, Fatigue, Modal, Weld, Random Vibrations, Harmonic and Thermo mechanical Analysis
- Preparing and documenting FEA calculation results
- Should have a good understanding of global design standards like EN/GOST/DVS standards for assessment of structures and welds.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties (Customer)
- Knowledge on Railway products working will be added advantage. Knowledge of another industrial domain desired
Responsibilities:
- Preparing FE models for complex assemblies independently and performing calculations as per requirements of the project
- Applying calculation methodologies, processes, and tools to endure deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer within committed limits
- Suggesting design improvements of calculated parts
- Preparing and documenting FEA calculation results
- Should have experience on perform structural analysis of metals, sheet metals, plastics and rubber components using suitable material models
Work Experience
- B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 8 years of experience in Rail/Locomotive industries.
- Hands on experience in ANSYS Classis and Hyper mesh
- Perform Static, Fatigue Analysis and FEA Modeling
- Ability to work independently and meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good team player
