Job Title: SAP Event Management (SAP EM) Consultant

Job Summary:

The SAP EM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Event Management solutions. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to monitor business processes, detect exceptions, and ensure real-time visibility across the supply chain or service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support SAP Event Management (SAP EM) solutions across various business processes.
• Configure Event Handlers, Expected/Unexpected Events, and Rules for Event Processing.
• Integrate SAP EM with other SAP modules like SAP TM, SAP SCM, SAP ECC, and external systems.
• Develop and maintain custom enhancements using ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, and APIs.
• Monitor and resolve SAP EM-related issues and support tickets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define event monitoring requirements and exception handling workflows.
• Utilize tools like SAP Web UI and SAP NetWeaver for configuration and reporting.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user training.
• Document technical specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP EM configuration and development.
• Deep understanding of SAP EM architecture, including Event Handlers, Event Messages, and Overdue Monitors.
• Experience with RFCs, XML, and Web Services for event communication.
• Familiarity with process monitoring, exception management, and KPI reporting.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
