Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Mongo to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services, integrating with cloud-native environments, and managing data-intensive applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and optimize MongoDB queries and schemas for high performance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to planning and estimation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using Python (Django, Flask, or Rest API).
- Strong experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
DBA level skills (preferably the newer Database stack like SingleStore / Mongo )
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux, and scripting tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of other databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators.
- Familiarity with async programming (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp).
- Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
