the required skillset spans across technical expertise, analytical thinking, and knowledge of security frameworks.

Networking Fundamentals
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs
Routing and switching concepts
Network architecture and protocols

Vulnerability Assessment Tools
Nessus, Algosec

Nmap for port scanning and service enumeration
Nikto, Burp Suite (for web-based assessments)

Penetration Testing Tools
Metasploit Framework
Kali Linux tools Wireshark for packet analysis
