Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer-Testing/QA is to review the complied software and provide observations for maintaining/improving the functionality.Preparation of test cases and documentation of the results.Perform detailed Validations through existing/ new tools.
Responsibilities:
- Help design and build automation framework to support integration, regression and functional testing
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and scripts based on design specifications outlined in user stories
- Drive adoption of standards and best practices for software test development
- Collaborate with various teams, designers in releasing high-quality software
- Help ensure your vertical's releases adhere to deadlines while not compromising on quality.
Requirements:
- Solid, demonstrable experience implementing test automation infrastructure and writing test scripts./
- Understanding of agile/scrum values, principles and practices
- Experience working with Web UI automation tools, preferably Selenium Web Driver
- Experience in writing automation tools/framework (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, Jest, SoapUI, Rest Assured/ Httpclient )
- Experience querying relational databases (e.g. POSTGRES) and testing REST based API interfaces
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language (JAVA Preferred)
- Experience with performance and/or security testing tools and understanding of standard security vulnerabilities
- Experience testing web applications developed using newer frameworks like React or Angular.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum guidance software Engineer-Testing / QA.
Core Competencies:
- Strong interactive skills.
- Relevant experience in development and testing role.
- Experience in Java Technologies
- Knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium / QTP
- Must be self motivated and result driven.
