Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing team. This is a permanent remote position, ideal for a self-driven professional passionate about finance transformation through SAP. The selected candidate will play a critical role in delivering functional and technical support, driving process improvements, and enhancing the overall SAP FICO experience for our business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily end-user support and issue resolution across SAP FICO modules.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SAP-related functional and technical issues.
- Perform configuration, customization, and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with finance and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Support integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR.
- Train end-users, create support documentation, and maintain accurate process materials.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes, corporate policies, and statutory standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and propose permanent solutions.
- Support month-end/year-end closing activities and assist during audits.
- Act as a key liaison between finance, business, and IT functions for cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- 48 years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and support.
- Strong functional expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting
- Proven experience in SAP business process analysis, user support, and documentation.
- Good understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to guide business teams on best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP FICO certification is a plus.
