We are hiring IT Procurement who can join us in short notice.
Experience: 7-10 years
Location: Mumbai
Notice: 0 to 30 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with IT and business needs.
- Source and evaluate vendors for IT products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Vendor Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Conduct periodic vendor audits and reviews.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and approvals.
- Support internal and external audits related to IT procurement.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Work with finance and IT teams to manage procurement budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with IT, legal, finance, and project teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Support infrastructure deployment and upgrades through timely procurement.
- Issuing Individual and blanket Purchase orders to vendors based on business requests and POs executed in line with discussion with seniors.
- Vendor co-ordination for delivery status and negotiations.
- Execution & closing of Open PR calls as per IBL procedure and policies.
- Issuance of individual Laptop & Desktop POs to designated vendors.
- User interaction for resolving their queries regarding delivery of products, buyback, and i-works.
- Issuing blanket Purchase orders to vendors based on business requests and POs executed in line with discussion with seniors.
- Maintaining trail of vendor negotiation with various vendors for audit assistance
- MIS Report provided to Management on Alternate days & Weekly Basis giving details of Requests pending at Procurement desk, PO
- Weekly meeting with vendors , Stock update and updated Delivery tracker for record.
- PO acceptance pending done based on email confirmation sought from requestor / users and laptop installation / configuration received from IT Team.
- Maintaining Mumbai laptop Custody and initiating the scrapping of non-working laptops.
- Issuing standby laptops and initiating tagging and retagging of laptop ownership
- Handling all Regulatory Requirements from procurement perspective
- Processing requests for correspondent products(DMP/LAN Switch/Router/Desktop)
- Generation pending, Achievements & Productivity report of requests Processed & PO Generated by Employees . Report for Laptop.
- Clearance done & Laptop clearance pending
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in IT procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of IT hardware, software licensing, and infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- ITIL Foundation
- PMP (optional, if involved in project delivery)
