City Business Head - Job Description:
Are you excited about the transformative power of ecommerce in changing the landscape of grocery retail in India? bigbasket is creating milestones in the online grocery market and has recently re-hauled its supply chains across cities to fulfil most customer orders faster. The companys operations have expanded to thirty cities in India, recording about fifteen million customer orders per month.What would you be doing/ Expected from this role?
- Responsible for P&L for the Location Top line Bottom line ABV Margin for the Location P&L
- Corporate Sales proficiency
- B2B Corporate Sales Handling
- Marketing Activities to scale up business.
- Driving the Store Metrics OTD Complaints Write off On time picking etc.
- Responsible for ensuring recruitment and managing attrition with the help of HR.
- Manpower Planning
- Initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Monitor and analyses the reports to achieve metrics.
- Rewards and Recognition
- Vendor management Delivery Partners and Security, Housekeeping
- Process Adherence
- Competition Tracking
- Work Environment and Safety Management
Who are we looking for?
- 8-10 years with 2-4 years Experience at Manager role
- Impressive knowledge in the retail & ecommerce industry
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
- Strong Analytical skills
- A motivated, self-directed individual that works well with minimal supervision.
- Experience in organizational communication (internal and external)
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to others; write reports, business correspondence, project plans, procedural documents.
