Job Description
- Assist the IT Development Manager in leading the application development function and ensuring delivery of projects as per business priorities.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Oversee application architecture design, development standards, and secure coding
- Ensure alignment of all development projects with RBIs IT guidelines, information security
- Manage development teams and vendor resources for in-house and outsourced
- Support integration of applications with core systems, APIs, middleware, and third-party
- Ensure version control, release management, and proper documentation of all
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), defect management, and production
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and oversee
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including microservices, APIs, and cloud
- Maintain regular reporting to IT Development Manager on project status, risks, and mitigation
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, and DevOps
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (C#, .NET, Java, Angular, SQL, APIs, ).
- Knowledge of cloud-based development and microservices
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and regulatory requirements in the NBFC/financial
- Strong project management and vendor coordination
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving
- Good leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior
- Strong communication skills to interact with business teams and
- Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Oracle Certified Professional, Agile/Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience: 812 years of experience in application development, software project management, and system integration, with exposure to financial services or NBFC sector
Position Overview
The Senior Manager IT Development is responsible for assisting in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organizations business applications and digital platforms. The role supports the IT Development Manager in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements, align with regulatory and compliance obligations (including RBI guidelines), and adhere to industry best practices. The position involves overseeing development teams, managing internal and external vendors, driving software project lifecycles, and ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient application development.
