Job Description
- The primary role of this department is to oversee fund accounting and fund administration for Hedge Funds. Your main responsibilities will include reviewing financial statements and financial highlights for semi and annual reports, preparing/reviewing various types of reports for the Hedge funds, and handling various fund-related matters such as class action vendor oversight, closed-end fund leverage reporting, K-1 tracking for MLP investments, reviewing security lending compliance reports, monitoring daily cash reports for overdrafts, and year-end tax reporting reviews like QDI. Additionally, as the right candidate, you may also have the opportunity to increase your responsibilities to include security level valuation and fair value oversight. To be considered for this role, you should possess an MBA (Finance), CA, CA Inter, or Post graduation in commerce, along with 2-5 years of relevant fund accountant/Financial Reporting experience. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel are essential, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Furthermore, having knowledge and understanding of fixed income and equity securities is necessary, while derivative knowledge would be a plus.,
