Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and services that support our applications and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (preferably Java 8 or above)
- Design RESTful APIs and ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend applications
- Work with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies
- Monitor and optimize application performance
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- [X]+ years of experience in Java backend development
- Strong understanding of Spring Boot, Spring Framework
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with database design
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP
- Knowledge of Unit Testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito
- Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
