Automation Tester / Senior QA Automation Engineer @ Cirruslabs

Job Description

Automation Strategy & Framework Design:
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
Test Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive automated test coverage.
Continuous Integration & Deployment:
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
Mentorship & Leadership:
Guide and mentor junior automation engineers, review code, and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance.
Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Test Data & Environment Management:
Oversee the creation and management of test data and environments to support automated testing.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation to provide visibility into quality and coverage.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance test automation effectiveness and efficiency.
Quality Advocacy:
Champion a culture of quality, proactively identifying risks and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
5 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation and quality assurance.
