Job Opening for Proposal & Estimation Engineer at Coimbatore.

Job Vacancy : Quality Engineer

Job Location : Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Qualifications/Experience : B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing industry.

Job Responsibility:

• Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposal for Oil & Gas, Energy, Petro-chemical Projects,
• Follow up detailed enquiries for Chemical Dosing Pump prospects.
• Having knowledge as PROCESS / DESIGN / PROPOSAL ENGINEERING
• Preparation and planning of Technical and Commercial /proposal & Layout design / P & ID, GA and other process design & Conventions.
• Technical Evaluation of Tenders / Enquiry, raising pre-bid queries,
• Selection Pumps, Preparation of Flow sheet, Material Balance and undertaking Process design calculations & Equipment Sizing as a part of above.
• Preparation of BOQ and Detailed Cost Estimation.
• Familiar with Saudi Aramco / SABIC / SWCC / SEC / Petro-Chemical Projects specifications
• Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in Rotating Equipment / Pumps Manufacturing / Service industry preferably in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation and Water
• Experience and good understanding of Pump Hydraulic applications.
• Good knowledge of the API 674 / API 675 pumps, Mechanical Seal design standards.
• Responsible for all Tendering, Procurement & Purchasing activities on assigned jobs / projects which required a high degree of professional integrity, ethics.
• Identify potential resources & suitable manufacturers Develop long term Business Plan & strategy and provide supporting docs/info.
• Communicate with the manufacturers on regular basis through meeting, presentation, submission of business plan & detailed discussion.
