Rama University is a leading educational institution with a strong focus on academic excellence, research, and state-of-the-art infrastructure. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Civil Engineer to join our Civil & Maintenance Department, contributing to the development and maintenance of university campuses and associated hospital facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise civil construction works including university buildings, hospital infrastructure, hostels, and other institutional facilities.
- Execute and monitor civil maintenance activities to ensure quality standards and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols.
- Supervise repair, renovation, and upkeep of existing infrastructure.
- Monitor material quality, usage, and maintain records of work progress.
- Support in preparing progress reports, project schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and university policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in civil construction and maintenance, preferably in university, institutional, or hospital projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural work, finishing, and utilities.
- Hands-on experience in civil maintenance supervision and site management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
