Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Position Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications.
- Develop and implement efficient algorithms and data structures.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Must-Have Skills:
- Java Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience
- Reviews design documents and provides feedback on approach and estimates
- Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.
- Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
- Experience in Openshift
- Experience in Elastic
- Experience in Kafka
- Strong knowledge of the Spring framework (Spring MVC, Spring boot, Spring Security)
- Good knowledge of relational database, specifically Oracle (SQL - PL/SQL)
- Strong knowledge of ORM tool (Hibernate preferably)
- Strong knowledge of web services (WSDL Soap, Restful) Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience in GraphQL
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
