Artificial Intelligence Engineer @ Skipper

Job Description

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer to be part of our digital transformation across Skipper Limited's operations in India. You'll leverage AI technologies like deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and robotics to drive business innovation, improve outcomes, and shape our AI strategy.

Objectives of this Role:

- Manage and direct AI processes and R&D aligned with Skipper's business goals

- Identify how AI can address company and client challenges across PVC, sanitary ware, T&D sectors

- Lead cross-functional teams to drive AI adoption for business benefits

- Analyze and explain AI/ML solutions maintaining high ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise leadership on AI technology, strategy, and policy impacting Skipper's operations

- Collaborate on functional design, process design, prototyping for AI solutions pan-India

- Articulate solutions architecture and lessons learned across projects

- Assess AI market trends and competitor landscape for Skipper's businesses

- Liaise between stakeholders and project teams across locations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 5-7 years overall experience; 3+ years applying AI to practical solutions

- Expertise in ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP

- Experience in program leadership, governance, change enablement

- Knowledge of algorithms, object-oriented design

- REST API development, NoSQL/RDBMS design

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field

- Experience with innovation accelerators

- Cloud environments experience
