Job Description
- As a Robotics/STEM Teacher at our school located in Sector 70A, Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Your expertise in robotics, coding, and project-based learning will be essential in designing and implementing engaging curriculum for students ranging from Grades 3 to 10, following the guidelines set by the CBSE board. Your responsibilities will include planning and conducting interactive Robotics and STEM lessons using various kits like LEGO, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and more. You will incorporate 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication into your teaching methods. Teaching coding fundamentals using tools like Scratch, Python, and Blockly will be a significant part of your role, along with guiding students in design thinking and project-based learning in alignment with CBSE curriculum and ATL initiatives. Encouraging student participation in STEM competitions, exhibitions, and science fairs at different levels will be crucial. You will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment and ensuring safety protocols in the lab, as well as collaborating with fellow faculty members to integrate STEM concepts across various subjects. Staying updated on the latest developments in robotics, coding, and emerging technologies will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, or related fields), B.Sc. in STEM-related disciplines, or equivalent. A B.Ed. degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Robotics/STEM, along with experience in handling ATL Labs or similar STEM labs, is required. Certification in robotics, coding, or STEM education is a plus, along with proficiency in coding languages/tools like Python, Scratch, and Arduino IDE. Your role will involve maintaining student records, assessing learning outcomes, providing constructive feedback, and fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
