Job Description
- You will be joining Teradyne Robotics as the South Asia Director, responsible for leading commercial operations in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Your role will involve driving growth through marketing initiatives for Universal Robots (Cobots) and Mobile Industrial Robots (AMRs). As part of the management team, you will report to the Vice President of Sales, APAC. Your key responsibilities will include setting and achieving regional growth targets, developing strategic plans for market penetration, managing the regional team and channel partners, and fostering strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure long-term success. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in industrial automation or robotics, experience in channel development leadership, and a knack for building and executing regional strategies aligned with the global vision. You will also be expected to expand and optimize the partner ecosystem, implement partner enablement programs, collaborate with marketing teams to localize campaigns, represent the company at industry events, and drive brand awareness in the South Asia region. In addition, you will oversee post-sales support and service delivery, monitor customer satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of leadership experience in robotics, automation, or industrial technology, a solid understanding of channel models, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. This position is based in Bangalore, the headquarters for Robotics in India, and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
