Job Description

Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions .
Write efficient Python scripts for data transformation, ETL automation, system integration, and reporting tasks.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across systems.
Integrate data between systems using Python (e.g., REST APIs, flat files, database connectors).
Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application developers to deliver data-driven solutions.
Proficient in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration, with strong skills in Python for automation, data modeling, and experience using GitLab and Jira for version control and project tracking.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Python .
Deep understanding of Oracle Database and SQL performance tuning.
Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git .
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with job schedulers and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow , Control-M , Informatica ).
Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
Knowledge of data modeling and database design best practices.
