Job Description
Job Overview:
Coronis Ajuba is looking for an experienced Medical Coding Surgery Trainer to join our team. This role is key to maintaining coding accuracy, compliance, and continuous team development.
Location: Chennai (Work from Office)
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Job Type: Full-Time
Surgery Quality Analyst or Auditor can also Apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training for surgical coding (1 to 6 Series).
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials.
- Audit coded records and provide feedback.
- Stay updated with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS guidelines.
- Mentor and support coders for performance improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of medical coding experience, specifically in surgery.
- Certified coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS.
- Experience in 1 to 6 Series coding.
- Prior experience in training/mentoring is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and coding tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and in teams.
