Job Title: SAP Master Data Consultant
Contract
Location: Remote
Project Type: Migration to SAP ECC
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Consultant to join our team for a migration project to SAP ECC. The consultant will play a key role in ensuring data integrity and successful migration of Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Finance Master Data, Material Master, and cross-functional integration across supply chain and finance modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute master data activities related to Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM) for ECC migration.
- Collaborate with business teams to analyze, cleanse, and validate master data for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage Material Master and Finance Master Data creation, enrichment, and migration.
- Work closely with functional consultants to ensure alignment of data structures, field mappings, and configuration requirements.
- Conduct data load preparation, simulation, and validation in coordination with technical teams.
- Support data governance standards and implement data quality checks throughout the migration process.
- Identify and resolve issues related to data consistency, dependencies, and integration points across modules (PP, WM, MM, FI, CO).
- Provide documentation and training materials for post-migration support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with strong expertise in Material Master and Finance Master Data.
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and migration projects (data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load).
- Solid understanding of Production Planning (PP) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality methodologies.
- Proficiency in using LSMW, BAPIs, or other SAP migration tools for data load.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional and remote teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP ECC
- Knowledge of data migration tools like SAP Data Services or MDG.
- Exposure to MM, SD, and CO modules for integration points.
