Principal Software Engineer Servicenow @ CBRE

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable analytics solutions using ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Platform Analytics modules.
• Lead performance tuning initiatives across the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal response times and system reliability.
• Design and develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with platform architects, developers, and business analysts to define data models and analytics strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and analytics developers on best practices and architectural decisions.
• Drive innovation by integrating AI/ML capabilities into analytics workflows where applicable.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all analytics implementations.
• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and performance benchmarking.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in ServiceNow ITSM, GRC, HRMS, platform development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Performance Analytics, Platform Analytics, or Operational Intelligence in ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in JavaScript, GlideScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in analytics workflows is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
