Job Description
- System Configuration and Implementation:
This involves setting up and configuring SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) to manage direct material flow, including defining workflows, user roles, and integration with other systems. - Direct Material Sourcing and Procurement:
Participating in the sourcing process for direct materials, potentially using SAP Ariba Sourcing, and managing the resulting purchase orders and contracts. - Supplier Collaboration:
Working with suppliers through Ariba Network to facilitate communication, confirm orders, manage changes, and ensure timely delivery. - Monitoring Material Flow:
Tracking the movement of direct materials from suppliers to the production site, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying potential disruptions or delays. - Issue Resolution:
Addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during the direct material flow process, such as delivery delays, quality problems, or invoicing discrepancies. - Reporting and Analysis:
Generating reports on direct material flow, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to stakeholders. - Compliance:
Ensuring that all activities related to direct material flow comply with relevant regulations and company policies, potentially including those related to quality, safety, and security. - Integration with other systems:
Integrating SAP Ariba with other systems like SAP S/4HANA to ensure seamless data exchange and process execution.
- SAP Ariba Expertise:
Deep understanding of SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) and potentially other modules like SAP Ariba Sourcing. - Supply Chain Knowledge:
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. - Direct Material Experience:
Experience working with direct materials, understanding their unique requirements and challenges. - Data Analysis:
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making. - Communication and Collaboration:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers. - Problem-solving:
Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the direct material flow process. - SAP S/4HANA knowledge:
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with Ariba.
