Job Summary

The Sr. Developer role is crucial for driving innovation and efficiency in our hybrid work model. With a focus on Azure Databricks and Starburst the candidate will leverage their expertise to enhance data processing capabilities. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience ensuring robust solutions that align with our companys goals and societal impact.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data solutions using Azure Databricks to optimize data processing workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Starburst technologies for seamless data access.
  • Design scalable architectures that support complex data analytics and business intelligence needs.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data platforms to maintain system integrity.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster skill development.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective implementation.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data queries to enhance system efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure Databricks and Starburst to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Implement best practices for data management and governance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials for end-users.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Azure Databricks and its application in data processing.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Starburst technologies for effective data integration.
  • Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development focusing on data solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Show experience in designing scalable architectures for data analytics.
  • Display knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards.
  • Have the ability to mentor junior developers and guide them in technical tasks.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Be adept at performance tuning and optimization of data queries.
  • Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in data technologies and apply them effectively.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions.
