Job Description

BT Developer JD - Bangalore/Hyderabad

Design and develop software solutions using Bluetooth Classic and BLE protocols.
Integrate Bluetooth functionality into mobile, embedded, or IoT devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, app development) to deliver high-quality Bluetooth-enabled products.
Debug and resolve Bluetooth communication issues using tools like sniffers and protocol analyzers.
Optimize Bluetooth performance (e.g., power consumption, connection stability, throughput).
Maintain compliance with Bluetooth SIG standards and perform interoperability testing.
Write clear documentation for code, protocols, and APIs.

Role & responsibilities

Perform functional, interoperability, and performance testing of Bluetooth Classic and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) features.
Validate BT profiles such as A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, HID, PAN, MAP, GATT, and others.
Conduct manual and automated test execution for Bluetooth stack, drivers, and applications.
Debug issues using logs, protocol analyzers (Ellisys, Frontline, etc.), and provide detailed defect reports.
Work with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and verify fixes for reported issues.
Ensure compliance with Bluetooth SIG standards and execute certification test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (audio, connectivity, Android/Linux OS, hardware) to ensure quality.
