Experience: 3-5 Years

Primary Skills: NetApp, Dell Compellent, Rubrik, Cisco Switches
Secondary Skills: Isilon, Brocade Switches
- Experience in Administration and Implementation of NetApp, Dell Compellent, Isilon, Rubrik clusters
- Experience working in large, complex, enterprise datacenter environments.
- Experience with designing, deploying, and supporting Open Systems, Enterprise SAN and NAS solutions
- Hands-on experience with NetApp, Dell Compellent, Isilon storage arrays and Rubrik Backup Arrays
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches and Brocade switches.
- Experience installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining Enterprise Backup solutions
- Working experience with Snapmirror, Robocopy datadobi or any other replication tools.
- Manage Rubrik backup infrastructure , ensuring successful backup and recovery operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage storage technologies, SAN disaster recovery technologies, business continuity components and procedures.
- Solves storage performance issues and handles requests through the service desk.
- Provide guidance to storage administrators.
- Coordinates upgrade / maintenance activities
- Work with vendors to ensure the environment is properly implemented, configured, managed, and maintained.
- Works with multiple teams (DBA, Servers, Networks, and applications) and Project Managers to deliver storage solutions.
- Fine tunes and creates procedures that can be handed down to operational team members as well as create / modify Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs) for change control items.
- Strong technical written and verbal communication skills (Technical writing and Documentation of Infrastructure)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a small business environment
- Customer service oriented.
- Monitor storage and backup performance, capacity, and health using appropriate tools and dashboards.
- Implement and maintain data protection policies, including backup schedules, retention policies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Perform regular audits and testing of backup and restore procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and database backup requirements.
- Maintain documentation for storage and backup configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in storage and backup technologies.
