Job Description
SailPoint IdentityIQ Developer Healthcare IndustryPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ Developer to join our healthcare IT security team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development expertise in SailPoint IIQ , with proven experience in building, customizing, and integrating identity governance solutions in a healthcare provider/payer environment. This role will be responsible for implementing identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance-driven workflows, with integrations to healthcare applications such as Epic, Oracle Fusion, and MyAccess .
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SailPoint IIQ solutions including lifecycle events (joiner/mover/leaver) , provisioning workflows, and access request processes.
- Customize IdentityIQ rules, workflows, plugins, and connectors using Java/BeanShell scripting .
- Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) , Attribute-based access control (ABAC) , Least privilege principle , SoD (Segregation of Duties) policies, and compliance certifications.
- Develop and configure application integrations with systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, databases, Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM, SAP, and Epic EHR .
- Work with stakeholders to ensure IAM processes align with HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare regulatory requirements .
- Develop custom connectors and extend out-of-the-box connectors to integrate with MyAccess and other IAM platforms.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, deployment , and provide production support for IAM solutions.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless identity governance.
- Create technical documentation , including design specs, configuration guides, and deployment instructions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (design, development, customization).
- Strong knowledge of Java, BeanShell, XML, SQL/PL-SQL, and scripting for IIQ customization.
- Experience with out-of-the-box connectors (AD, LDAP, Workday, Oracle Fusion, SAP) and developing custom connectors .
- Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and de-provisioning workflows .
- Experience with Access Certifications, Compliance Manager, and SoD controls .
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for application integration.
- Understanding of IAM best practices, security controls, and healthcare compliance (HIPAA/HITECH) .
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience in supporting production IAM environments .
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating Epic, Oracle Fusion HCM/ERP, and MyAccess with SailPoint IIQ.
- Knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow or other cloud-based IGA solutions.
- Familiarity with Okta, Ping, or Azure AD as part of enterprise IAM.
- Experience in DevOps pipelines for IIQ deployments (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
- Prior experience in healthcare IT environments (EHR, payer/provider systems).
