Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Team Lead with 46 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years of strong expertise in Python, to lead and mentor a high-performing development team. This role demands a self-driven leader with a strong appetite for learning, an analytical mindset, and the ability to think strategically while being hands-on in coding and architecture design.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide technical direction, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in design and development.
- Act as a bridge between product management, business stakeholders, and the development team.
- Technical Ownership
- Drive the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications.
- Ensure efficient integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
- Ensure security, scalability, and performance are embedded in all solutions.
- Delivery & Collaboration
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, and UI/UX) for seamless delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Python with frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience in scalable system design, event-driven programming, and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and data security principles.
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and patterns.
- Experience with Git, Mercurial, or SVN version control systems.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years of hands-on Python development.
- Prior experience as a Senior Developer or Technical Lead.
