Operating dialysis equipment, including setting up the machine, preparing and administering dialysis solutions, and monitoring patients during treatment
Ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of dialysis equipment and supplies
Recording patient information, including vital signs, fluid and electrolyte levels, and treatment results
Assisting in the preparation of patients for dialysis, including helping with positioning and access to the dialysis machine
Monitoring patients during dialysis for signs of adverse reactions or complications
Responding to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest or severe allergic reactions, in a prompt and effective manner
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as registered nurses, to provide comprehensive care for patients
Ability to follow established protocols and procedures, with strong attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
