Job Description

Position: Azure Data Architect
Role Overview:
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric, incorporating AI and advanced analytics where they bring business value. Act as a hands-on technical leader, guiding teams, shaping architectures, and ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global teams to design data architectures, assess risks, improve data landscapes, and refine models/frameworks.
• Translate business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions.
• Support presales activities (RFPs, proposals, presentations).
• Conduct architecture/design workshops showcasing Azure Data & AI capabilities (ML, Machine Vision, Gen AI, AI Modeling).
• Lead and develop high-quality ETL components, ensuring performance and data quality.
• Oversee creation/maintenance of architecture artifacts (lineage, mappings, designs).
• Drive adherence to data governance, standards, and best practices.

Technical Expertise Required:

• ETL, Data Architecture, Data Modeling.
• Azure Data stack (Data Lakes, Warehouses, Pipelines), Databricks, Spark, and distributed systems.
• Data Engineering, Governance, Quality, Reporting/Analytics.
• Big Data/Cloud solution design (Azure, AWS, GCP optional).
• Programming: PySpark, Shell scripting, SQL, Python, AI/ML tools, Agentic AI.
• AI-ML project experience.
  

Preferred:

• Manufacturing domain experience.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure Solution Architect Expert, DP-500, DP-700).
